Well, we are back from Key West. What a great time! We went with our great friends, John & Kristi and Chris & Michelle. I think I can speak for all of them and say with a fair amount of confidence that we all had a great time. Highlights for all of included some really painful travel stories (John, Kristi, if I had to spend four hours in an airport, I couldn’t think of better people to share that quality time with), getting sea sick on a snorkeling trip, utterly fantastic meals in Key West, walking up and down Duval street, spending hours upon hours swimming and hanging out at the pool, making margaritas in our room so we could save money by not having to go to the bar, the 104 degree hot tub (yikes), and the conch train tour of Key West. And that’s just the beginning… There’s still the sunset festival, with the Cat Man (“Show your reverse!”…. inside joke), walking on the boardwalk, and oh so many other things. And of course, we had more travel woes coming home. In fact, all of us did, and we were all on different flights and on two different airlines. *sigh*
Anyway, we also had a great time with Suzanne’s parent’s, and they did a FANTASTIC JOB of taking care of Sarah while we were in Key West. Sarah is still talking about the fun she had with Maw Maw and Pappy, and I’ll bet she will be for quite a while.

Great pictures. Surly did not look like hurricane country. Were you checking the weather channel often for hurricane updates? Looks like everyone was having a great time.
